The motorcycle season 2025 has officially started in Odesa with a charity ride that follows the route from Kyiv to Odesa and back. Participants gathered at the monument of Duke de Richelieu, as reported by a correspondent from Suspilne.

According to participant Volodymyr Musiak, the ride supports the veterans' movement and the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Approximately 60 motorcyclists are involved, with more joining along the route.

"Currently, there are 60 bikes on the road, and more riders are joining us as we go. We don’t yet know the total number," said Volodymyr.

Volodymyr Musiak, a veteran who has been fighting since 2014, explained that the event serves both social and charitable purposes. This is the first motorcycle ride of its kind aimed at uniting Kyiv and Odesa.

"There will also be collections. Auctions and charity events were held yesterday in Kyiv. We do this every year, and we even have a charity fund that allows us to purchase necessary supplies for the Armed Forces of Ukraine," added Volodymyr.

A unique aspect of the veterans' motorcycle club is that it includes members with disabilities resulting from combat.

"One of our brothers in the club has lost a leg. He has adapted his bike for himself, and many guys with similar conditions also ride," shared Volodymyr Musiak.

In Odesa, bikers are looking forward to the official opening of the 2025 motorcycle season, meetings with brother clubs, and a music program. After the Odesa segment of the event, participants will head back to Kyiv, completing the Kyiv-Odesa-Kyiv route.

This charity ride was organized by the "Bikers of Ukraine" community and the Veterans MC Ukraine motorcycle club with informational support from the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine.
