The Odesa City Council has decided to allocate 50 million hryvnias for the restoration of buildings that were damaged during Russian attacks in April-May 2025.
This information was revealed during the live broadcast of an extraordinary session organized by the city's mayor's office.
The largest portion of the funding will go towards restoring a partially destroyed high-rise building located at Yaroslav the Wise (Hlushko), 2. The building suffered significant damage during a drone strike on April 30, when one of the Shahed drones hit the upper floors. Currently, the evacuation of residents is underway, as living there is deemed unsafe.
Additionally, 2.7 million hryvnias have been allocated for the repair of three schools that were damaged from enemy attacks.
