The Ukrainian delegation held significant talks with representatives from four nations during their visit to Turkey, focusing on coordinating positions ahead of discussions with the Russian delegation.

This was reported by Andriy Yermak, the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.

The delegation includes Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha, and Yermak, who are currently in Turkey. Earlier, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the initiation of negotiations among Ukrainian, American, and Turkish representatives.

According to Yermak, they met with U.S. Special Representative Keith Kellogg, the National Security Advisor to the Prime Minister of the UK Jonathan Powell, Diplomatic Advisor to the President of France Emmanuel Bonne, and the Foreign Policy and Security Advisor to the Chancellor of Germany Günter Sauder.

During these talks, they coordinated their positions ahead of the meeting between the Ukrainian and Russian delegations in Istanbul.

Yermak stated: "Ukraine is committed to peace and an unconditional ceasefire. We are prepared for high-level meetings and negotiations. Our goal in Istanbul is to achieve an unconditional ceasefire – this is our top priority."
