According to the Romanian National Institute for Earth Physics Research, a magnitude 4.2 earthquake struck at 00:59 in the Vrancea seismic zone. The epicenter was located at a depth near Buzau, approximately 50-70 kilometers from other areas.
It is important to note that seismic activity in this region is quite common. It periodically affects the southern parts of Ukraine, especially Odessa.
Currently, there are no reports of destruction in the Odessa region.
Additionally, it is worth mentioning that on the evening of Sunday, May 11, Romania experienced a magnitude 4.6 earthquake, which was also felt by residents of southern Odessa.
