The annual training competition for emergency medical personnel was held in Odesa. During the event, medical workers received new vehicles and uniforms. The regional government also participated in organizing the event, as reported by the Odesa Department of Health.

The event took place at the transportation unit of the Odesa Regional Center for Emergency Medical Services and Disaster Medicine. The primary goal was to enhance the efficiency and professionalism of medical workers in challenging situations.

The organizers included the Odesa Regional State Administration and the Department of Health. During the official part, the head of the OVA, Oleg Kiper, handed over the keys to 11 new emergency service vehicles to the medical staff. These vehicles will be distributed among six districts of the region and the city of Odesa.

As part of the «Health of Odesa Region» program, the service workers also received certificates for new specialized uniforms. Representatives from the National Police and the State Emergency Service expressed gratitude for effective cooperation during emergency response efforts.

Following the ceremony, a practical competition phase took place, with teams working in conditions closely resembling real-life scenarios. The event concluded with a large-scale simulation of an emergency situation, involving representatives from the Red Cross of Ukraine.
