On November 4th, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced the successful completion of an intelligence operation in the area referred to as the "gray zone" at the former Kakhovka Reservoir.
The operation was carried out by fighters from the "Brotherhood" unit, which is part of the special unit "Timur" of military intelligence.
In the area of the former Kakhovka Reservoir, specifically at the "Velyki Kuchuhury" section located 7 km from the shoreline, the GUR special forces identified and eliminated two Russian occupiers.
“The fighters of the ‘Brotherhood’ raised the blue and yellow flag over the islands and took control of the territory,” the report states.
Previously, GUR operatives captured three radar stations and a Russian landing craft in Crimea.
