Today, June 5, an online meeting was held in Odesa, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Oleksii Kubela and Deputy Minister Nataliia Kozlovska, focusing on Ukraine's recovery efforts.
The meeting included representatives from the Odesa City Council, such as First Deputy Mayor Oleksandr Filatov, advisor on accessibility issues Oleksii Morozov, and heads of various executive bodies.
During the dialogue, participants discussed the implementation of the project "Movement Without Barriers" and the status of the inclusive tram route "North-South".
The attendees emphasized the technical aspects of the route's implementation, including discussions on the marking of specific sections and the action plan.
Currently, Odesa is actively marking the inclusive tram route "North-South". Recently, representatives from the project in Kyiv visited to familiarize themselves with the route plan, resulting in the approval of the action plan.
The project "Movement Without Barriers" is part of the National Strategy for Creating an Accessible Environment in Ukraine, which Odesa is actively supporting.
The idea for the inclusive tram route "North-South" was proposed by the Odesa City Council, approved by the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine, and fully aligns with the goals of the National Strategy.
The local implementation of the project is coordinated by the Odesa Accessibility Council.
