During a working visit to Odesa, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha met with students at Odesa National University named after I.I. Mechnikov, one of the leading educational institutions in southern Ukraine.

The meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere, as the minister engaged with international relations and political science students—those who will soon represent Ukraine on the global stage.

He was open to questions, sharing his personal experiences in diplomacy and discussing current foreign policy challenges.

Andriy Sybiha emphasized that “modern diplomacy requires not only professionalism but also adaptability, a deep understanding of the world, and clear value orientations.” This should be the foundation for training a new generation of Ukrainian diplomats.

Students inquired about European integration, information security, the challenges of war, and personal motivation to serve the state during difficult times. The responses were inspiring and encouraged reflection.

Such meetings are vital for investing in the future of our country, as those present will soon shape Ukraine's image on the international stage.

We thank Andriy Sybiha for his openness and the university staff for creating a warm atmosphere!
