As of 16:00, due to the pipeline break on the main pressure water pipeline with a diameter of 1200 mm, the following areas remain without water supply:
- Primorsky district of Odessa;
- Kyiv district of Odessa;
- part of the Khadzhybey district (residential area «Cheremushki»);
- village of Lymanka, village of Chervonyi Khutir, residential areas «Rainbow», «Sovinyon 1-5», «Chornomorka», and housing cooperative «Tairovo».
When will water supply be restored
In Infoksvodokanal, they state that the exact time for restoring water supply will only be known after the excavation is completed and the nature of the damage assessed. They promise to provide additional updates.
According to preliminary estimates, they hope to repair the pipeline and restore water to Odessa residents by 08:00 on Friday, June 13.
The water supply company assures that repair crews will be working through the night.
