The award is given annually to authors of original publicistic works that promote the establishment of historical memory for the nation, its national consciousness, and uniqueness.

The State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine announces the acceptance of publicistic works for the Vyacheslav Chornovil Prize for the best publicistic work in journalism.

This prize is awarded each year to authors of new original publicistic creations that contribute to strengthening the historical memory of the people, their national identity. Works by individual authors or creative teams of no more than five members published within the last three years, but not later than six months before the nomination, can be submitted for the contest.

To participate, it is necessary to submit an application for the award by August 10, 2025, with a brief description of the work and its author, a copy of the work (electronic version or link to the publication), proof of publication in print, audiovisual, or online media, as well as a copy of the passport (for creative teams — copies of passports of all members).

Documents are accepted at the address: 01 001, Kyiv, 2 Prorizna St., State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine, marked “For the Vyacheslav Chornovil Prize for the best publicistic work in journalism.”

To expedite the processing of submitted documents and to allow the committee members to familiarize themselves with the contest works remotely, applications for the award in Word format and signed in PDF format, as well as electronic versions of the works, should be sent to the email address irina@comin.gov.ua.
