Odessa rescuers are inspecting local beaches.
Summer vacations by the Black Sea coast are the perfect way to spend your time. To increase the number of official beaches, commission inspections are currently underway.
Recently, Odessa rescuers assessed the central beaches that are planned to be opened to the public.
They checked the lifeguard stations, availability of boats, rescue rings, and first aid kits. They also verified the accessibility of nearby shelters and conducted informational work with vacationers.
After the inspection, specialists from the State Emergency Service provide recommendations to government authorities, who make the final decision regarding beach openings.
