The city of Odessa is actively participating in the UITP 2025 International Urban Transport Summit taking place in Hamburg. This event brings together representatives from key European and international organizations dedicated to supporting the recovery of Ukraine's transport infrastructure.

Representatives from Odessa have engaged in a series of strategic discussions with the European Commission, European Investment Bank, World Bank, EBRD, IFC, UITP, as well as municipal authorities from EU countries. Topics included transport renewal programs, funding opportunities, international support, humanitarian initiatives, sustainable development projects, and plans for post-war reconstruction.

Preliminary conditions have been set for securing funding for vehicle procurement, infrastructure modernization, and digital solutions, including the implementation of a unified ticketing system.

Odessa's participation in such international events is not just a show of support for our partners, but also concrete steps towards an upgraded and sustainable transport system within the city.
