On July 11, a fire broke out in Odesa, injuring a woman. Personal belongings in a house were engulfed in flames. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire, according to the State Emergency Service.
The incident occurred in the afternoon in the Peresyp district. On Republican Street, household items in a home caught fire. During the firefighting operation, rescuers saved a woman born in 1938, who was hospitalized with facial and hand burns in moderate condition.
"The cause of the fire and the damage are still being determined. The State Emergency Service deployed 3 units of equipment and 14 firefighters for the operation," the agency reported.
