The recently opened inclusive beach at the 11th station of the Great Fountain in Odessa - Beach 11 - hosted the Black Sea Cup in beach sambo.

Athletes from various regions of Ukraine participated in the competitions.

Attendees included Deputy Mayor Serhiy Kozyuba, the Mayor's advisor on accessibility Oleksiy Morozov, president of the Odesa regional sambo federation Kadhik Babajanyan, head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports Ruslan Puzdrach, and director of the Department of Internal Policy Oleksandr Zhiltsov.

“This beach was created not just as a leisure space, but as a true barrier-free platform for events. Today's competitions confirm that. Odessa will continue to support sports and accessibility,” said Serhiy Kozyuba.

“With the team from the Barrier-Free Council, we envisioned the potential of this space during the planning stage. Today's competitions are the best confirmation of our success,” said Oleksiy Morozov.

Beach 11 once again confirmed its versatility and ability to host events of various scales, uniting sports, inclusion, and city development.
