On the night of July 19, the city endured another brutal assault by strike drones. The attack resulted in damage to residential buildings, infrastructure, and vehicles, with casualties reported. Unfortunately, one of the rescued women lost her life.

At the scene, alongside district administration representatives and municipal services, NGOs worked tirelessly throughout the day. The coordination of assistance was managed by the city mayor's advisor, Veronika Ethnarovych.

The NGO “April Tenth” partnered with UNHCR to provide comprehensive support:

  • blankets, pillows, flashlights, dishes, and other essentials,
  • provision of OSB boards,
  • legal consultations for residents,
  • psychological support.

IRC also provided psychological assistance on-site.

From morning, teams from WCK and the charitable organization “Morning of Revival” provided beverages and hot meals.

The “Winds of Change” foundation supplied kits for mothers and children.

The Red Cross Society has been aiding the victims since the night of the attack, continuing their work during the day by distributing film, tarpaulin, and first aid kits.

The KУ “Rescue and Diving Service of the Odesa City Council” collaborated with the NGO “Dobrobat” to dismantle dangerous building elements and clear the surrounding area.

Odesa expresses its gratitude to partners and UN OCHA for their support and unity during these challenging times.
