This past weekend in Odessa, an open Wu Shu training session was held at inclusive beach No. 11. The event took place outdoors, barefoot on the sand — in an easy and accessible format that reflected the summer vibe.

Veterans joined the training with great interest, trying their hand at this new sport. The session showcased various styles of Wu Shu — contact and non-contact, dynamic and health-oriented. Everyone had the chance to test techniques, feel the rhythm of movement, and find inner balance.

The event exemplified how an inclusive space can be vibrant — open to people with diverse experiences and new meanings.

The masterclass was conducted by:

  • Oleksandr Mykolayovych Berezhny — Honored Coach of Ukraine, senior coach of Wu Shu Sanda at the Odessa Wu Shu Federation;
