Odessa is actively pursuing initiatives under the flagship project “Movement Without Barriers”.

Today, July 24, an online meeting was held with the Ministry of Community Development and Infrastructure of Ukraine. Participants discussed the documentation necessary for the project implementation and collaboration with the business sector to build a barrier-free environment.

As per the instructions of Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov, active reconstruction work is underway along the barrier-free routes in Odessa. 

This includes preparations for the renovation of sidewalks, installation of ramps, tactile elements, and inclusive navigation signs.
