To commemorate Ukraine's Unity Day, the Department of Education and Science of the Odesa City Council organized an event that united members of the Parliament of High School Students and representatives of the «Veterans' HUB Service Office».
The meeting took place under the slogan of unity and continuity of generations, aimed at strengthening the national consciousness of young residents of Odesa.
Participants formed a «circle of unity» and collectively sang the National Anthem of Ukraine, emphasizing the inviolability of borders and the spirit of the nation.
During the activity «Common Map of Ukraine», the youth and veterans visualized the integrity of the country's regions.
At the panel discussion titled «What Unites Us?», attendees discussed civic responsibility and the role of each citizen in strengthening statehood.
The central part of the event was an open dialogue between representatives of the veteran community and the city's school youth. The «question-and-answer» format allowed participants to exchange experiences, discuss common values, and establish patriotic guidelines.
At the end of the meeting, representatives of the Parliament of High School Students presented participants with symbolic charms as a sign of unity and mutual support.
Unity is not just about shared territory but also shared responsibility for Ukraine's future.
