On Ukraine's Independence Day, celebrated on August 24, a 34-meter national flag was unfurled in Odesa.
Each meter of this flag represents a year of our freedom. It reflects our achievements and challenges, our journey towards unity, dignity, and strength.
Thanks to the bravery of Ukrainian soldiers, our flag now flies so high that the whole world knows about unyielding Ukraine. Their resilience allows us to celebrate, live, and dream.
This is why Odesa today holds the blue and yellow flag firmly as a symbol of freedom, gratitude, and hope. It waves over the sea, the streets, and in our hearts. Every gust of wind that unfurls the fabric above the city reminds us: we have endured, we exist, and we will continue!
