The inspection of rented beaches in the Kyiv district of Odesa has been completed. A working group established by the Odesa mayor conducted a thorough examination of beach areas to ensure compliance with operational rules, cleanliness, and public access.
The group included representatives from the city administration, accessibility councils, and veterans' organizations.
During the inspection, key requirements were assessed:
- at least 30% of the rented area must be available for free use;
- absence of temporary structures on the sand;
- compliance with sanitary standards;
- ensuring unobstructed passage along the water's edge and between beach sections.
The working group identified several violations: the placement of sun loungers too close to the water, hindering passage, and a case of unauthorized trading. This incident has been reported to the police, and a protocol has been established.
Recommendations for improving accessibility conditions have been provided to the renters.
A comprehensive report with conclusions and suggestions will be prepared based on the inspection results for the next recreational season to enhance the situation.
The next phase will involve checking the beaches in Odesa's Primorsky district.
