Odesa is committed to creating an accessible environment and expanding opportunities for all its residents.

The city plans to develop the municipal beach «Otrada» for the rehabilitation and leisure of veterans, children with disabilities, and other mobility-impaired groups.

Additionally, a base for adaptive rowing sports is set to be established at the beach.

On August 27, during an extraordinary session, the Odesa City Council voted to support amendments to the «Barrier-Free Odesa» program, increasing its funding by 1 million hryvnias.

The total funding for the program in 2025 will amount to 189.5 million UAH.
