In Odesa, a comprehensive renovation of a nine-story residential building located at 134 Prince Volodymyr the Great Avenue (Dobrovolskogo) has commenced, following damage from a drone attack in March 2024.

The contractor is tasked with dismantling damaged structures, removing debris, restoring walls, ceilings, roofs, drainage systems, and improving the surrounding area.

Preliminary emergency work has already been carried out to strengthen the existing parts of the structure.

As of now, the reinforcement and fixation of concrete elements that remain for further use have been successfully completed. Specifically, the building's wall has been stabilized and secured to the ceiling slabs.

The completion of the capital repair is scheduled for December 31, 2026.

Recall that in March 2024, an extraordinary session of the Odesa City Council's executive committee made the decision to demolish 18 apartments in this building, which were deemed uninhabitable.
