Due to prolonged rainfall and strong winds that lasted nearly a day in Odesa, approximately 70 trees and large branches have been downed. The information is continuously updated. The city's municipal services have promptly begun working to mitigate the consequences.
Emergency situations are being handled by specialists from the municipal enterprises «City Green Trust», «City Roads», and «Housing and Utility Services». The municipal workers are cutting up fallen trees and removing them, as well as cleaning the streets of debris.
First and foremost, the municipal workers are clearing roads, highways, and pedestrian paths of fallen trees, and also removing trees that obstruct access to significant social facilities.
Currently, work has been completed at 37 locations, while efforts are ongoing at 33 others.
