An emergency situation occurred on one of the water pipelines in Odesa, proving to be more complicated than initially anticipated. According to the press service of «Infoksvodokanal», specialists worked on-site throughout the night, successfully halting the leak and temporarily restoring water supply, though repair work is still ongoing.
«Currently, specialists are preparing for excavation and welding work, which will involve significant efforts,» the statement notes.
As a result, temporary water supply suspension and pressure reduction in the network have been extended for some residents of the Kyiv and Khadzhybey districts.
This specifically affects Akademika Koroleva St., Heavenly Hundred Ave., Sim'yi Glodan St., Levitan St., Varnenska St., Cosmonauts St., Inglezi St., Heroes of Krut St., and Lyustdorf Road. Preliminary estimates suggest that repairs will be completed by 10 PM.
