In Odesa, a major renovation is underway at Odesa Lyceum No. 56, located at 1 Tynysta Street, which is one of the key educational institutions in the Primorsky district.

The project involves the implementation of modern energy-saving solutions and infrastructure improvements.

To date, the following has been completed:

  • territorial improvements: sports areas with soft surfaces have been created;
  • partial replacement of the fencing;
  • a new ramp for access from Tynysta Street;
  • restoration of the sidewalk in front of the lyceum;
  • roof insulation;
  • entrances equipped with ramps and covered with non-slip tiles.

Currently, work is ongoing on facade insulation, restoration of pavements, installation of canopies over entrances, and the setup of drainage systems.

Landscaping is also in progress. By the end of the year, the installation of fitness equipment, basketball stands, and the completion of sports area fencing is planned.

This year, a mural titled "Towards the Dream" has appeared on the facade of the lyceum, created as part of a joint project by the NGO "Association of Ukrainian Sappers" and the Canadian-Ukrainian Foundation.

Note
The educational institution at 1 Tynysta Street was founded in 1946. Initially, it was located in two old buildings. In 1964, a three-story block was constructed, and in 1983, additional premises were added.
Currently, over 1200 students attend the lyceum, with more than 100 educators working, making it one of the largest educational institutions in the Primorsky district of Odesa.
