Cancer Detection Week will be held in Odesa from February 2 to 6, 2026.
This initiative is supported by the Department of Health of the Odesa City Council in preparation for World Cancer Day, observed every year on February 4.
During this week, all interested individuals are invited to visit their family doctors for preventive check-ups, which may include electronic referrals for screenings such as breast ultrasound, mammography, Pap tests for women, PSA tests for men, and other necessary examinations.
To receive free preventive check-ups, you must contact your family doctor. If you do not have a declaration, you can register one on site.
Timely diagnosis can help detect early stages of diseases, significantly increasing the chances of successful treatment.
