The city of Odessa is undergoing essential preparations for the heating season, including hydraulic testing of heating networks, which is a critical step in readiness.

Pipes are being tested for strength and tightness to minimize the risk of accidents during the heating period. The temperature of the heat carrier currently remains below 40°C. Sections of heating networks that require repairs are being replaced with new ones.

In connection with the city's winter preparations, assistance continues to be provided by the USAID Energy Security Project.

Over the past month, the municipal enterprise KP «TMO» has received four deliveries of pre-insulated steel pipes along with necessary fittings and valves.

In total, the enterprise has received the following pre-insulated steel pipes:
- diameter 325 — 816 meters;
- diameter 219 — 24 meters;
- diameter 108 — 78 meters;
- diameter 57 — 14 meters.

Additionally, KP «TMO» has received: ball valves, heat shrink couplings, fixed straight supports, connecting sleeves, sealing rings, joint insulation kits, compensation pads.

This assistance will enable further planned work on replacing damaged heating networks.

KP «TMO» urges residents and visitors of Odessa to park their vehicles only in designated areas and to avoid approaching areas where ground subsidence has been observed. They are also encouraged to report such cases to the specialized center for rapid response in the housing and communal services sector — 15-01.
