The two-day concluding event of the EU4Culture project is currently taking place in Chișinău (Moldova) - a European Union initiative aimed at supporting cultural development in the Eastern Partnership countries: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine.

Representatives from various cities, as well as artists and cultural sector professionals, are participating in this event, where they have developed their Strategies as part of the EU4Culture project. Participants are sharing experiences and building national and international partnerships.

"Odesa joined the project only in mid-2023, but within a year it has achieved several significant milestones",

-  said Ivan Liptuga, Director of the Department of Culture, International Cooperation, and European Integration of Odesa City Council.

He talked about the work on the "Odesa Cultural Development Strategy 2025-2035" - a document that will serve as a foundation for the city's cultural sector development, as well as other important initiatives:

- guide on preserving Odesa's cultural heritage;

- manual for arranging Odesa's signage;

- visualization of Odesa's symbols – creating 3D models of the city's iconic symbols and more.

The strategic vision for Odesa's cultural development has been shaped in collaboration with cultural figures, representatives of creative industries, and non-governmental organizations. This document will be presented to the Odesa City Council for consideration.
