On November 9, Ukraine celebrated the Day of Culture Workers and Masters of Folk Art.
A delightful achievement was the agreement on cooperation between Odesa's libraries and the library system of Regensburg.
“The library project aims to establish foreign literature sections in Odesa’s libraries, formed in collaboration with our sister cities. The Regensburg Library will be the first pilot project,” stated Ivan Liptuga, Director of the Department of Culture, International Cooperation, and European Integration.
Next year, one of the libraries in Odesa will feature a German literature section dedicated to the history of Regensburg.
The sister city of Regensburg will assist in filling and organizing the activities of this section, hosting joint events, and publishing interesting works by German authors.
A similar cultural corner will also be established in the libraries of Regensburg.
