From October 20 to 25, Odesa hosted a nationwide boxing tournament for youth in memory of the renowned sports master Semen Trestin.

Over a hundred young boxers from across Ukraine participated in this event, marking its revival after a six-year hiatus.

Arthur Prodan, a student of the Comprehensive Children's and Youth Sports School No. 8, competed in the 70 kg weight class, winning all three of his matches and claiming first place. This achievement qualifies him for the honorary title of «Master of Sports of Ukraine».

Ivan Karpov, also from the same sports school, earned a bronze medal in the 60 kg category and fulfilled the candidate for master of sports standard.

The athletes were coached by trainers Vladimir Osipchuk, Dmitry Boboshko, and Igor Gordienko.
