In order to enhance the popularity of the Ukrainian language among the residents of Odessa, a new social advertising competition titled «Promoting the Ukrainian Language» will be held from October 29 to November 29, 2024.

The main objectives of the competition include promoting the Ukrainian language, fostering respect for it, highlighting its beauty, increasing interest in its study, forming spiritual values in the youth, developing national identity, and supporting the creative abilities of the younger generation in the Odessa community.

The competition will be conducted in two phases:
Phase I - submission of applications;
Phase II - evaluation of submissions and determination of winners.

To participate in the competition, applications must be sent to the email address of the Department of Internal Policy of the Odessa City Council: dep_vp@omr.gov.ua (with the subject line «Social Advertising Competition»).

Requirements for submissions:
1. Technical requirements:
- posters may be created graphically or drawn by hand.

2. Submissions must be original and unpublished.

3. Participants must adhere to the following conditions when submitting their work:
- content must not contradict Ukrainian legislation;
- text should be brief, clear, and original;
- emotional expressiveness through color, font, light, and graphics;
- absence of false information;
- relevance to the competition theme;

4. Submissions must not include:
- author names, contact details, commercial information, political symbols, and slogans;
- inappropriate images or information that degrades dignity;
- promotion of harmful habits;

5. All works must be submitted in Ukrainian.

6. Submissions must comply with the law and moral standards.

7. By submitting their work, participants automatically consent to the processing of personal data in accordance with Ukrainian law.

8. Participants confirm their authorship and are responsible for any copyright infringements.

9. Works will not be accepted if they:
- do not meet the requirements;
- contain plagiarism;
- are submitted after the deadline.
