A collaborative effort between the Odessa Film Studio and the Bulgarian company MagicMountLimited, supported by the State Agency of Ukraine for Cinema, the film 'The River's Edge' made its debut at the 29th Sofia International Film Festival. Although part of our team could not attend, the spirit of our collective work and dedication was palpable in every scene.

The narrative follows a Bulgarian named Fory who finds himself in the Danube delta. In the Ukrainian town of Vylkove, under unforeseen circumstances, Fory ends up in custody.

Yet, in this town inhabited by Lipovans, he encounters true love, and the stunning beauty and spiritual atmosphere of the 'Ukrainian Venice' provide him with a sense of belonging he has been searching for all his life.
