A trial is set to begin in Odesa for an agent accused of spying on air defense and the assault brigade "Lyt'". The individual faces charges of treason.
This information was reported by the Odesa regional prosecutor's office.
Law enforcement agencies discovered that the accused voluntarily collaborated with a Russian military intelligence officer, collecting current information about the locations of temporary bases of the united assault brigade of the National Police "Lyt'" and the deployment of mobile fire groups of air defense in Odesa.
"The informant transmitted materials with geographic coordinates through drafts in email accounts, intended for the enemy to adjust missile strikes and drone attacks.
The Odesa resident was detained at the end of August 2024 while carrying out another task. He is awaiting trial in custody," the report states.
