On April 29, an important event took place at the Odessa National Scientific Library — a lecture titled «The Psychological Impact of War» featuring Antonina Bruss, a member of the Ukrainian Association of Psychotherapy.
The event was part of the program «Mental Health: The Library as a Support Space», implemented in collaboration with the Coordination Center for Mental Health under the initiative of the First Lady Olena Zelenska.
Cadets from the Odessa State University of Internal Affairs were invited to the lecture, which served as a platform for discussing the impact of three years of full-scale war on the mental health of Ukrainians.
Ms. Bruss emphasized that war is not just a physical confrontation but also a deep emotional and mental struggle that affects everyone, regardless of gender, age, or status.
The event contributed to the development of emotional literacy, increased awareness among cadets about the mental consequences of war, and provided tools for maintaining inner balance.
