Public educational institutions in Odesa are actively involved in the implementation of international projects, collaborating with educational establishments from EU countries such as Poland, Denmark, the Netherlands, France, Germany, Slovakia, Hungary, Latvia, and others.
Notably, from October 6 to 11, 13 students from Odesa Lyceum No. 9 participated in a youth camp called "Krzyżów" in Poland. This visit occurred as part of a Polish-German-Ukrainian school exchange involving students from the cities of Leżno (Poland), Kaiserslautern (Germany), and Odesa (Ukraine).
During their stay at the camp, participants engaged in activities related to intercultural communication, history, and tolerance. Talented and creative youth united to complete shared project tasks, including integration-language introductions, language evenings-presentations, excursions through the "Gross-Rosen" camp, and visits to the Church of Peace, as well as art workshops.
Additionally, at the beginning of October, as part of international cooperation, 15 students from Odesa Lyceum No. 90 visited a school in Bremen (Germany).
For eight days, the children lived with German families, participated in joint projects, creative activities, trips, and excursions through the cities of Bremen, Hamburg (Germany), and Groningen (Netherlands).
During their foreign trips, young Odesites had the chance to communicate with peers from Poland and Germany, demonstrated a high level of proficiency in foreign languages, and deepened their knowledge of the German and Polish languages, as well as the history, culture, and traditions of these countries.
