The organizer was apprehended while attempting to transport six individuals to the unrecognized Transnistria. He has been charged and the court has chosen a preventive measure of detention. He faces imprisonment and asset confiscation.

This information was confirmed by the police.

Officers of the patrol police stopped a «KIA Sorento» during a routine check, driven by a 51-year-old man from one of the regional recruitment centers. Inside the vehicle were six men aged between 25 and 30 from various Ukrainian regions.

Investigators at the scene found that the driver was involved in organizing the illegal transportation of conscripts to the self-proclaimed Transnistrian Moldovan Republic. His services cost between five and eight thousand dollars, depending on the clients' financial capabilities. The driver was acting in collusion with an unidentified individual who was helping him find clients.

The authorities seized the vehicle, detained the driver, and directed the passengers for verification to the regional military recruitment centers.

After gathering sufficient evidence, investigators charged the driver under part 3 of Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – organizing illegal transportation of individuals across the state border, committed by a group acting in conspiracy. This crime is punishable by up to nine years of imprisonment.

The court selected a preventive measure of detention with the possibility of bail set at 240,000 UAH, which the man did not take advantage of.

Law enforcement is continuing to identify all individuals involved in this crime. The investigation is ongoing under the supervision of the specialized military prosecutor's office in the southern region.
