On March 27, while patrolling the state border, the crew of the Coast Guard vessel discovered an empty inflatable boat in the sea. As they approached, the border guards saw a man clinging to the side of the boat, trying to escape from the water. This was reported by the Coast Guard of the State Border Service of Ukraine.
Due to the cold water temperature, the victim was rapidly losing strength. The sailors immediately pulled him aboard, provided necessary assistance, and warmed him with hot tea. It turned out that the man had fallen into the water due to his own negligence. The boat was taken in tow and brought to shore.
"The rescued individual's condition is satisfactory, and he did not require medical assistance," the report stated.
