Two young men broke into a grandmother's home, brutally assaulted her, and fled. They are now facing charges that could lead to long imprisonment and asset confiscation.

Recently, a social worker contacted the police, discovering a 76-year-old woman in critical condition on the floor of her home. Law enforcement quickly determined that during the curfew, two local youths, aged 24 and 17, entered the property after learning that the woman had received her pension. They broke a window, and the minor crawled inside, opening the door for his accomplice.

The attackers severely injured the woman with a hammer found on the premises, causing her to lose consciousness. After searching the house, they fled without finding any money.

The victim was urgently hospitalized with multiple head injuries. Police quickly tracked down and arrested the offenders.

Currently, investigators have charged the suspects with assault for the purpose of theft, accompanied by violence. This crime is classified as serious, punishable by up to 15 years in prison. The court has ordered detention as a preventive measure. The investigation is ongoing under the supervision of the prosecutor's office.
