Details: Zelensky's office confirmed that the meeting took place but did not provide further details. According to the Office of the President, the discussion lasted about 15 minutes.

This meeting was the first after a heated exchange in the Oval Office in Washington in February and occurred at a critical moment for peace talks between Ukraine and Russia.

"President Trump and President Zelensky met privately today and had a very constructive discussion. More detailed information will be released later," said Stephen Chung, White House communications director.

Trump, who is urging both sides to agree on a ceasefire, stated on Friday that productive talks had taken place between his envoy and the Russian leadership, calling for a high-level meeting between Kyiv and Moscow to finalize an agreement.

Earlier, media reported that the Trump administration provided Ukraine with a one-page document in Paris, presented as a "final proposal" for peace resolution. Among other things, the U.S. is prepared to recognize Russian control over Ukrainian Crimea and ease sanctions against Moscow.

President Volodymyr Zelensky stated on April 24 that the U.S. had proposed its strategy regarding Ukrainian territories during negotiations in London; however, he noted that after the U.S. proposal, "another document appeared."
