The woman involved in the offense has been notified of suspicion and a preventive measure has been chosen. She faces a significant prison term along with asset confiscation.

Police officers discovered the woman on the streets of one of the settlements in the South Ukrainian community while she was laying out drug "drops".

A response team was called to the scene and seized 10 wraps of particularly dangerous psychotropic substances from the woman and her hiding places, which were sent for forensic examination.

The suspect was detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. During the preliminary investigation, law enforcement learned that the suspect had established contact with an unidentified supplier via a messaging app. She received pre-packaged psychotropic substances and sold them through hiding places, sending photos and coordinates to buyers.

Police included the suspect's phone, containing evidence of interest to the investigation, in the case materials.

According to acting head of the investigative department Yevhen Haiovyi, based on sufficient evidence collected, the woman has been charged under part 2 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine for illegal acquisition, storage for sale, and illegal sale of particularly dangerous psychotropic substances. The court has chosen a preventive measure in the form of detention with the right to bail. Under current legislation, the suspect faces up to 10 years in prison with asset confiscation.

Police will identify others involved in the drug trafficking. The investigation continues under the procedural guidance of the Dobroslav District Prosecutor's Office.
