As of October 9, 2024, the municipal service «Social Taxi» has commenced operations in Odesa. Approximately 40 requests have already been received from persons with disabilities.
To book a vehicle, simply call the short number 15-01 three days before your trip. The call is free from all mobile networks!
Additionally, you can fill out an online form on Odesa's official website, which makes accessing this service even easier. The «Social Taxi» service is supported by the public organization «Barrier-Free».
Free transportation is provided to the following categories of persons with disabilities:
- individuals with disabilities of group I and II (with mobility impairments);
- children with disabilities (with mobility impairments);
- individuals with visual impairments of group I and II.
«Social Taxi» provides transportation within the city from the place of residence to the following locations:
- local government offices;
- state executive authorities;
- courts;
- healthcare institutions (medical, sanatorium, or rehabilitation facilities);
- banks;
- social, cultural, and educational institutions;
- prosthetic and orthopedic enterprises;
- bus and train stations;
- public utility service providers.
*** As of October 1, 2024, there are 63,000 persons with disabilities residing in Odesa, including over 4,500 with mobility impairments, 5,229 children with disabilities, and nearly 1,000 individuals with visual impairments.
