34-year-old athlete Alexander Litvinenko from the Odesa Regional Center for Physical Culture and Sports «Invasport» has won a bronze medal at the 2024 Summer Paralympic Games.
The competition was held in the T36 class (long jump for athletes with movement impairments in all four limbs at low to moderate levels) with a result of 5.56 m.
This is Alexander's second Paralympic Games. In 2021, he finished seventh in long jump and placed 13th in the 100-meter sprint at the Tokyo Paralympics.
Alexander Litvinenko (coached by Tetiana Orlova) is the first athlete from Odesa region to hold a medal from the 2024 Paralympics.
