On December 22, the first stage of the Winter Cup SEASIDE RUNNERS took place in Odessa, marking an important event for athletics enthusiasts.

A total of 152 participants from various age groups took part in the event.

In the category for children under 6 years old in the 60-meter dash, Regina and Lev Kalchenko celebrated their victory, while silver medals went to Nika Polishina and Valera Isaev, and bronze was awarded to Olivija Lutskievich and David Horishok.

Among girls aged 7-13 in the 1 km race, Valeria Tsybulishchenko took first place, with Polina Tsybulishchenko coming in second and Victoria Vasyuk finishing third. In the boys’ category, the winner was Klimentiy Gerasymchuk, followed by Andriy Zasnov in second, and Andriy Kyryakov in third.

In the 5 km race, Olga Moroz and Yevhen Yasyinsky emerged victorious, with silver medalists being Yelyzaveta Sheremeta and Denys Polyakov, while bronze was taken by Anya Novikova and Maksym Petrov.

The 10 km distance was conquered fastest by Sofia Harmash and Serhiy Saltevskyi, with Anna Osmykh and Yevhen Vavilov in second place, and Oksana Titova and Dmytro Bolotnyi taking third.

On the longest distance of 25 km, the winners were Karine Grigoryan and Maksym Kyryakov, silver went to Yuliya Kirychnanska and Viktor Lazanyuk, while bronze was awarded to Oksana Postolenko and Artur Zherebtsov.

In addition to the races, a festive program was organized for the children.

The Winter Cup is a series of races designed to test the physical condition of participants. Winners are determined based on individual stage results as well as overall performance. The event is organized by the public organization SEASIDE RUNNERS with the support of the Odessa City Council.
