On December 6-7, 2024, Odessa hosted an MMA championship dedicated to the defenders of Southern Ukraine.

A total of 214 athletes from the Odessa region participated in the event.

Students from the Comprehensive Children's and Youth Sports School No. 15 achieved remarkable success, winning 17 medals.

The champions in their respective weight and age categories included: Artem Hlushchak, Ilya Dyvynets, Mukhamed Ovan, Hlib Zadolynyi, Artem Sinkov, Artur Dokshakov, Viktoria Morosenko, and Oleksandr Rybakov.

The silver medalists were: Yaroslav Lahunov, Petro Polozovskyi, Ibrahim Ovan, Maksym Motyha, and Viktoria Morosenko.

Bronze medalists included: Mykyta Leonov, Marat Dzhaфаров, Daniil Markov, and Dmytro Tkach.

The athletes were trained by coaches Ruslan Hasanov, Andriy Solomanchuk, and Viktoria Demidova.
