The Odesa City Council hosted the opening of a new exhibition featuring the creative works of students and faculty from the Fine Arts Department of the South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushinsky.

This event was organized in collaboration with the Odesa City Gallery.

The exhibition, dedicated to the theme of winter, is titled "Winter wonder" Each piece serves as a poetic space of inspiration, telling its own unique story. It encompasses a variety of artistic techniques and genres:

  • traditional oil painting,
  • paper cutting,
  • printmaking,
  • fabric painting and more.

Participants include both talented students and experienced artists – faculty members, National Union of Artists members, as well as honored and folk artists of Ukraine. Notable authors of the showcased works include Natalia Loza, Lyudmila Bohaychuk, Anna Nosenko, Petro Nahuliak, Oleksiy Malik, and others.

This exhibition is not just an opportunity to admire high craftsmanship and the inexhaustible creative potential of the students and educators of Ushinsky University. At a time when Odesa's winter feels more like a gentle autumn, the exhibition brings visitors a true winter atmosphere: snowy streets in thought, the elegance of winter landscapes, and the warmth of artistic light.
