From October 11 to 14, 2024, the international trampoline tournament known as the "Friendship Cup" took place in Jablonec nad Nisou, Czech Republic. A total of 380 athletes from 12 countries participated in the event.

The Ukrainian national team included athletes from the Comprehensive Children and Youth Sports School No. 1 in Odesa, namely Sofia Alarova and Veronika Pyatakova.

The trainees of coaches Regina Brailova and Liliya Zakolodyazhna achieved three medals at the tournament.

Sofia Alarova secured a commendable second place in individual jumps, showcasing an impressive combination that earned her a career-high score of 53.410 points, just behind Jessica Stevens from the USA, who scored 54.600.

In synchronized jumps, Alarova and Pyatakova initially ranked 7th with a score of 43.750, but their outstanding performance in the finals earned them bronze medals with a score of 46.050.

Earlier this year in March, they became bronze medalists at the World Cup in Alkmaar, Netherlands.

The trampoline program at Sports School No. 1 includes 54 young athletes training in this discipline.
