On May 10, 2025, the National Youth Climbing Championships took place in Lviv, featuring bouldering and combined events.

A total of 197 athletes aged 9 to 17 from 7 regions of Ukraine and Kyiv participated in the event.

Odesa was represented by 45 young climbers from the Specialized Children and Youth Sports School, the Complex Children and Youth Sports School «Dynamo», the Odesa climbing club, and the climbing section of the Odesa Private Lyceum «Step».

The athletes from the Specialized Sports School performed exceptionally well, achieving impressive results.

The winners included: Vira Hutsol (U15, 13-14 years), Maria Katereva (U11, 9-10 years), Matviy Lypovskyy (U9, 7-8 years), and Kateryna Bozhko (U9, 7-8 years).

The silver medals were awarded to: Tymur Hladkykh (U15, 13-14 years), Polina Shaparets (U9, 7-8 years), and Dmytro Labunskyi (U17, 15-16 years).

Bronze medals went to: Ksenia Tsyrulnykova (Specialized Sports School, U9, 7-8 years), as well as Georgiy Vatamaniuk and Kirill Papusha (Odesa Private Lyceum «Step», U9, 7-8 years) and Maksym Zhukov (Odesa climbing club, U9, 7-8 years).

The athletes were trained by coaches: Liubov Zymova, Viktor Remnev, Oleksiy Krynetskyi, Tetiana Pashaieva, Oleksandr Shaparets, and Andrii Merzliakov.
