The Muay Thai World Championship concluded in Turkey, featuring competitions in the Wai Kru and Muan Muay divisions.

Ukraine was represented in the finals by Irina Ladynenko, a coach from the Odessa Comprehensive Children's and Youth Sports School No. 7.

She excelled in her performances, claiming the top spot and earning a license for the upcoming European Games.

Additionally, Irina secured a bronze medal in the S Female Wai Kru category.

Valery Denisov, a student from Odessa Comprehensive Children's and Youth Sports School No. 16, also won a bronze medal at the 2025 World Championship in the Wai Kru youth category, trained by coach Pavel Yevtushenko.

In the team standings, the national team of Ukraine finished in second place, earning 6 gold, 3 silver, and 3 bronze medals.
