Ukrainian canoeist Ludmila Luzan secured a gold medal on the final day of the 2025 European Championship held in the Czech Republic.
The 28-year-old athlete triumphed in the singles canoe race over a distance of 500 meters.
Luzan outperformed Hungarian competitor Rea Opavski and Spanish paddler Maria Corbera.

This marks Luzan's first gold at the European Championships in three years and her fourth overall in her career.
Additionally, this is the fourth medal for Ukraine at the current European Championship, with none of the previous three being gold.
