At a charity boxing evening in Odesa, the combat sword of Olympic medalist Olena Kravatska was sold. This iconic weapon, which she used in international competitions, fetched 230,000 UAH at auction.

As Olena Kravatska shared on her Instagram, the sword was «genuine, battle-worn» and sold for 230,000 UAH.

Half of the proceeds will go to the «Khimera» unit, which is defending Ukraine on the frontline. The rest will help children from orphanages, including the purchase and delivery of essential items organized by Kravatska's team in partnership with the «Energy of Good» foundation.

“Where sports become a force for good, where one can smile and help”, commented the fencer.

Olena Kravatska was born in Netishyn but has lived and trained in Odesa since her teenage years. It is here that her career began, bringing her medals from world championships, European competitions, and the Olympic Games.
